Words of Wisdom

“One of the funny things about the stock market is that when one person buys, another sells and both think that they are astute”.

This quotes by William Feather beautifully explains the importance of one's judgement in the markets. If one is bullish on a particular security he goes and buys it, thinking that when it goes up it will profit him. While to the exact opposite there is a person who is bearish on the security and sells the security thinking that it will go down in value.

When this trade is executed and both the buyers and sellers are locked in this transaction, so are their conflicting views and rest all is left upon the market forces which then act supremely irrespective of who the buyer or seller is.

Meanwhile both the buyers and sellers hold tight to their views it is the market which ultimately decides their fortunes while both parties keep thinking about how much market wisdom do they posses and keep thinking about it while the market than rewards those who fall in its wave while punishing those who prefer to go against its wave
